This patch for Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 adds support for predefined teams in 2v2 automatch, fixes several exploits and bugs, improves balance, provides assorted user interface enhancements, and more.

Balance Changes

· Parachuting drop speed has been increased.

· Aircraft Return To Base speed boost reduced to 25% from 50%.

· Allied Vindicator (unupgraded) reload time increased to 10s from 5s

· Allied Vindicator (upgraded) reload time increased to 7s from 3.5s.

· Allied Apollo speed reduced to 225 from 250.

· Allied Apollo now twice as vulnerable to attack from units other than the Mig, Tengu, and other Apollos.

· Allied Apollo ammo reduced by 25%.

· Allied Century Bomber reload time increased by 50%

· Allied Multigunner Turret (ungarrisoned) damage versus infantry reduced by 50%.

· Allied Multigunner Turret (Peacekeeper Garrisoned) has had its accuracy increased.

· Allied IFV cost reduced to 800 from 900.

· Allied Aircraft Carrier drone health doubled.

· Allied Assault Destroy build cost reduced to 1500 from 1800.

· Japan Burst Drone vulnerability to FLAK & AUTO CANNON damage reduced by 25%.

· Japan Imperial Warrior armor penalty while Bonzai Charging removed.

· Japan Balloon Bomb reload time now increases based on its level.

· Japan Final Squadron reload time now increases based on its level.

· Japan Enhanced Kamikaze damage done to friendly units reduced by 50%

· Japan Defender-VX base defense unpack time halved.

· Japan Defender-VX base defense transform cool-down time reduced to 2 seconds from 15.

· Japanese Production Structures (Barracks, Naval Yard, War Factory) gain 25% health with each tech level purchased.

· Japan Barracks Egg cost decreased to 500 from 750.

· Japan Barracks T3 upgrade build time reduced to 30s from 60s.

· Japan Power Plant cost reduced to 800 from 1000.

· Japan Naval Yard T3 upgrade build time reduced to 30s from 60s.

· Japan War Factory T3 upgrade build time reduced to 30s from 60s.

· Japan Mainframe Core build cost decreased to 2500 from 3000.

· Japan Mainframe Core unpack time increased to 30s from 16s.

· Japan Shogun Battleship health reduced to 1500 from 2000.

· Soviet Bullfrog Man-Cannon launch speed increased.

· Soviet Conscript gun damage increased by 25%.

· Soviet Tesla Trooper pre attack delay reduced by 1 second.

· Soviet MiG speed reduced to 210 from 225.

· Soviet MiGs now twice as vulnerable to attack from units other than the Mig, Tengu, and other Apollos.

· Soviet Ultratorpedo damage reduced to 300 from 400. Damage now tapers to 100 at the edge of the blast radius.

· Soviet Twinblade health reduced to 500 from 600.

User Interface Enhancements

· 2v2 automatch now allows players to specify a teammate for ranked 2v2 matches.

· Added support for Elo ratings, a score that starts at 1500 and rises or falls based on wins and loses. This allows players to more accurately gauge their opponents' skill level.

· Automatch now allows players to specify how much their opponents' rating may differ from their own, ensuring competitors are adequately similar in skill.

· Your personal ladder rank and rating for both 1v1 and 2v2 ranked games is now displayed on the automatch screen.

· All players' ladder ranks are now displayed on the loading screen.

· Added 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 lobbies.

· Added "Player Defeated" audio events for games involving 3 or more players

· The friends list is now sorted alphabetically.

· Clicking a player's name in a multiplayer lobby will now start a whisper to that player.

· Hovering over a player's name in a multiplayer lobby will now also display that persons 1v1 rating.

· Modified the text displayed after a player disconnects to advise that grievances be filed in the sticky thread at the official Red Alert 3 forums.

· The multiplayer login screen will now remember your last successful username and online ID.

· The game will now check for patches at startup, and not just when playing multiplayer.

· There is now a fast forward button in replays (the ">" key will still work as well)

Bug Fixes

· Fixed a bug that would cause ore collectors to stop gathering when a building with repair drones was placed while the collector was docked at the ore node.

· Fixed a bug that would cause the game to crash when left idle in a high population online lobby for an extended period of time.

· Fixed a bug that caused garrisoning units to follow a twinblade from the ground if a stop command was given to the twinblade during the garrison.

· Fixed an exploit that allowed walls and wall hubs to be built on spaces occupied by enemy infantry.

· Fixed an exploit that allowed multiple walls to be built simultaneously.

· Fixed an exploit that granted credits and an engineer withoutdestorying the MCV when sold.

· Fixed an exploit that allowed Allies to build instantly via cryocopter and chrono rift.

· Fixed a desync that may have occured while loading an online co-op game.

The Escaped PrisonerMr Stapleton came to the Hall and met Sir Henry that same afternoon.The next morning he took us to the place where the evil Sir Hugo died.Then we had lunch at the House.Sir Henry clearly thought Miss Stapleton was very beautiful.His eyes followed her everywhere.He liked her very much,and I was sure that she felt the same about him.He spoke about her again and again as we walked home.After the first meeting,we met the Stapletons almost every day.

After a short time it was clear that Sir Henry had fallen deeply in love with the beautiful Miss Stapleton.At first I thought that Stapleton would be very pleased if his sister mar ried Sir Henry.However,I soon realized that he did not want their friendship to grow into love.He did everything he could to make sure that they were never alone.On one or two occa sions they did manage to meet alone,but Stapleton followed them and was not pleased to see them together.

I soon met another neighbour of Sir Henry's.His name was Mr Frankland,and he lived about four miles to the south of the Hall.He was an old man with a red face and white hair.He had two hobbies.The first was arguing.He argued with everybody.The second hobby was studying the stars.For this he had a very big telescope.For several days he had been watching the moor through the telescope.He wanted to find Selden,the escaped murderer.Nobody had seen the prisoner for a fortnight,and we all thought that he had probably left the moor.

A few nights later I was woken by a noise at about two in the morning.I heard someone walking softly outside my door.I got up,opened the door and looked out.I saw Barrymore moving carefully and quietly away from me.I followed him,as quietly as I could.He went into one of the empty bedrooms and left the door open.I went quietly up to the door and looked in side.

Barrymore was standing at the window.He was holding a light in his hand and looking out onto the moor.He stood without moving for a few minutes and then he put out the light.

I went quickly back to my room.A few minutes later I heard Barrymore go softly by.

The next morning I told Sir Henry what I had seen.

'We must follow him and find out what he is doing,'said Sir Henry.'He won't hear us if we move carefully.',wedding dresses,

That night we sat in Sir Henry's room and waited.At about three o'clock in the morning we heard the sound of footsteps outside the bedroom.We looked out and saw Barrymore.We followed him as quietly as we could.He went into the same room as before.We reached the door and looked in.There was Barrymore,with the light in his hand,looking out across the moor,exactly as I had seen him on the night before.

Sir Henry walked into the room and said:'What are you do ing here,Barrymore?'

Barrymore turned round quickly,surprise and horror on his face.

'Nothing,Sir,'he said.The shadows on the wall from his light were jumping up and down as his hand shook.'It was the window,sir.I go round at night to see that they are closed,and this one wasn't shut.'

'Come now,Barrymore,'said Sir Henry.'No lies.What were you doing with that light?You were holding it up to the window.'

I held the light up to the window,and looked out into the darkness.Suddenly a light answered from the moor.

'Now,Barrymore,who is your friend on the moor?What's going on?'

'That's my business,'said Barrymore,'I won't tell you.'

'Are you making some criminal plan against me?'Sir Henry said.

1) We're much more concerned about tank single target dps than we are tank AE dps. Especially in Icecrown, there are virtually no fights where the tank's dps contribution on an AE fight is really going to amount to much.

You can make an argument that the single target dps can be relevant on e.g. Festergut (though again, I still don't think there are that many cases where the difference between success and fail are the tank's dps).
2) You may find Devastate boring, but Devastate is a very easy ability to buff because even small tweaks have large effects given how often it is used.

Buffing say Shield Slam (or even Def Stance) would make the PvP balance we're trying to solve even worse. You'd have to buff Revenge enormously to see a difference. Any buff to Heroic Strike affects dps warriors in PvE as well who aren't hurting at all.

Some of the ideas about e.g. Rend are interesting, but we're pretty sure the last thing the warrior wow gold needs is yet another ability to manage while tanking. Long term that might be the kind of thing we consider, but given that we're looking for a safe and easy buff, that's not the kind of thing we want to mess with now.

Warriors are jealous of the DK and especially paladin persistent area-based damage, and the others are jealous of the warrior's burst AE threat on incoming adds.

Druids are jealous of anyone with more than one button. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
So, yes, one way of handling this is to give every tank a burst AE attack like Thunderclap, a sustained AE attack like Consecrate, and a mass taunt like Challenging Shout just for good measure. That's the kind of thing we are really reluctant to do though because it just works against the justification for having 4 tanking classes when they all perform the same way wow gold including using the same kind of tools.

Now, on the other hand no tank should be horribly gimped in any of those situations, and except for rare exceptions they really aren't. We're mostly talking quality of life issues here. (One such exception: DK offtanks on Yogg had trouble picking up adds and the dps couldn't afford to wait.
